About the event

In keeping with Kentuck's mission, Saturday Art Markets are a way to perpetuate the arts, engage the community, and empower the artist. In addition to our monthly Art Nights (1st Thursday), Saturday Art Markets are another opportunity for artists to display and sell their wares to the community. Kentuck’s Saturday Art Markets will be a place for community members to get together, shop, and experience Kentuck’s campus. There will be sidewalk chalk and a small $2 craft you and your little ones can enjoy. Come experience Kentuck and support local artists! Saturday Art Markets for 2024 are currently scheduled for the third Saturday of the month from 9:30am-2:00pm. The dates for 2024 are: Saturday, January 20 Saturday, February 17 Saturday, March 16 Saturday, April 20 Saturday, May 18 Saturday, June 15 Saturday, July 20 Saturday, August 17 Saturday, September 21 Saturday, November 16 Saturday, December 21 Saturday Art Markets are sponsored in part by the Alabama State Council on the Arts.

About the application

In keeping with Kentuck's mission, Saturday Art Markets are a way to perpetuate the arts, engage the community, and empower the artist. Hoping to expand on the success of our monthly art nights (first Thursday of every month), Saturday Art Markets will be another opportunity for artists to display and sell their wares to the community. Artist Guidelines: Space allotted is roughly 10 ft to allow a 6 ft table. Each vendor may set their own prices and are responsible for their own payment processing. Vendors will be always solely responsible for the cleanliness within their vending area. All vendors must complete an application through Eventeny and be approved. Vendors must pay appropriate fees prior to the Saturday Art Market. If it is raining, the market will be cancelled and a refund will be given. Required Fees: $20 space rental, $40 if using 10x10 tent, $10 table rental (limited availability), $1 metal chair rental

Terms & Conditions

All artists must apply and be approved through Eventeny. To exhibit, all fees must be paid before Saturday morning, January 20th, at 7 AM.

Prices

Courtyard Space $20 $20 rents a space in Kentuck's courtyard of Wonders to set up your table and sell your wares. This charge in non refundable after 4:00pm Friday January 19th.
Table rental $10 We have limited tables available for rent, these will be done on a first come first serve basis. This charge in non refundable after 4:00pm Friday January 19th.
Metal chair rental $1 This charge in non refundable after 4:00pm Friday January 19th.
Double booth $40 This option is if you plan to set up a tent. This charge will be nonrefundable after 4:00pm Friday January 19th.
