Today almost all paper is made using industrial machinery, but handmade paper survives as a specialized craft and a medium for artistic expression. Come and learn not only the process to make your own paper but also a brief fascinating history. This class is for adults only, 18+. This class will be offered twice, Thursday: April 20; 6-8pm Saturday: April 22; 2:30-4:30pm Cost is $50 per person. Please bring nonlaminated non glossy pieces of scrap paper from home. Old sketchbooks are a great idea to recycle into new paper. The rest of the supplies will be provided. This class will be located in the newly available Studio 2 which is located behind Rusty the big red dog on our campus. Look for the blue double doors in the Courtyard of Wonders! There is a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 10. If the minimum is not met, participants will be refunded.
