Join the ranks of Seurat, and create your own pointillism masterpiece! Using a pencil eraser and a stamp pad, participants will add dots of color to a design of their own creation. This craft is meant to introduce the basic ideas of design, color, and shading and is for ages 5 & up. All participants under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult to assist their child. There are two sessions of this activity. Session A will be March 17, 2022 from 10-11 AM, and Session B will be March 19, 2022 from 10-11 AM. There is a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 16. If the minimum is not met, participants will be refunded.  Please email Mary Bell, Program Manager, at mbell@kentuck.org with any questions.  About Molly Nelko: A native of Mobile, AL, Molly Nelko has joined Kentuck’s staff as our Programming Assistant! She attended Springhill College and received a BA in fine art with a focus on oil painting and printmaking. Her work has been in individual exhibitions from Portland, OR to Hilton Head SC, and can be found online. Molly currently lives in Tuscaloosa with her husband, three children, and cat Quill. She has experimented with many different forms of art, and some of her favorites are encaustic, tessellations, and ink wash. Molly currently works in her studio regularly, but her focus has become more about enjoying creative projects with her children.
