COVID protocols

THESE POLICIES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON THE LATEST SCIENCE AND CDC GUIDELINES. UPDATES AND ALTERATIONS CAN BE MADE AT ANY TIME. MASKS ARE REQUIRED MASKS MUST Fully cover both your mouth and nose. Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material. Fit properly and secured, hands free, on your face. They may not be made of mesh, tulle, etc. They may not have release valves to expel air. If an issue occurs and a mask is needed while at the con, Kami-Con will be providing masks at the door for $1. PROOF OF NEGATIVE COVID TEST REQUIRED A valid COVID-19 vaccination card may be voluntarily provided. If not, proof of a negative COVID-19 test from within 72 hours will be required to pick up your badge. The name on your vaccination card or negative COVID-19 test must match your registration. This policy is in place as of now and until further notice. The convention grounds may be more strictly monitored with regards to badges in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. ADDITIONAL SAFETY DETAILS Microphones will be wiped down between panels. Hand sanitizer stands will be available throughout the convention hall. Kami-Con will be opening another large hall to ensure people have a higher chance of social distancing. While we are aware that the nature of conventions makes social distancing difficult, we request you keep the practice to the best of your ability. Please DO NOT ATTEND if you are experiencing any COVID-19 (or any other illness) symptoms. Keep in mind that guests will have varying levels of human contact comfort. Please be respectful towards everyone wishing to keep more of a distance. If you are feeling sick at the time of the convention, please contact us and STAY HOME. During these times, we are happy to refund you partially or fully as the case may be. LET’S ALL DO OUR PART TO MAKE KAMI-CON A SAFE AND FUN EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE!
